Purpose: ChatNow was developed by Conversa Language Center in reponse to the needs of foreign language teachers all over the world to provide a safe way for their students to practice their foreign language outside the classroom. ChatNow enables students to easily save the transcript of their chats for later review by their teachers.

In this manner, teachers can verify the quantity and quality of their students’ practice of the foreign language they are studying.

Safety : Safety on the internet is a primary concern for both teachers and parents. Teachers using ChatNow can get a password for their sites to control who has access to the chatsite. This keeps unwanted people out of the chat room. Teachers can share their chat rooms with students from other schools anywhere in the world by giving them the password.

ChatNow is Free to Use : There is no cost to using ChatNow. User emails will not be given out to a third party. Users have a choice to receive notices and promotions from ChatNow.
